A few details of the upcoming theme:
  • Name of the theme: NeoStyle
  • Orientation: Landscape (initially)
  • Layout: Brand new original layout
  • Springjumps: Yes
  • Icon set: Yes, there will be individual icons
  • Bosspaper: Yes
  • Homescreen (Page0): Yes, with improvements
  • Focus: SpringBoard "real estate". Making the most out of the SpringBoard area without looking cluttered.

Release date still stands at 10.26.09

Pages 1-5 will give users the OPTION of having icons readily available on those screens, or the user can use the Favorites pages (Page 6-7), or both.

The springjumps on the right are animated - there is a static effect and the characters change from japanese to english.

The homescreen clock will have a glow effect done in CSS.

I haven't made the lockscreen yet, but it'll be COMPLETELY black with the time glowing in the middle and a tap to unlock that will also glow.

I will also be making a portrait version.

Also, icons are tentative. Looks too similar to iNSPIRED icons.



Portrait Version

In an effort to make this an "easy" theme to have... the placement of the icons in the landscape and portrait versions will be EXACTLY the same.

The ONLY difference is the dock, where you will have to put them in reverse order when switching from landscape to portrait.

I did this because sometimes I use iNSPIRED landscape, but other times I want to use iNSPIRED Portrait - depending on how I'm feeling or whether I will be doing more work on my phone or gaming. So I would change the theme in winterboard, then I would have to springback to the other springback file. This way, you won't need to do that (unless you're too duh-da-duh to change the dock order).
