Hi there, I managed to get the Repo working however when I go to install the file I get error 403 from Cydia, I am running Windows 7 with Apache and can see the file in a web browser.

Crap, i never seen this....and after looking back over the tutorial, i see why, i missed one thing...ill redo it when i get a chance, but on the step that lists the Filename:
    and i have as ./deb/filename
    it needs to be ./deb/filename.deb

need to have that .deb at the end. for some reason it worked without it for a while, but after a cydia update (i think that is when it started) you needed the .deb at the end. Which it should have been there, but i didnt use it. I have learned a lot more since this.

I havent seen this post ether! Very well written tutorial on creating a repo on Windows. I personally like to work with Linux, but i guess it's just a personal preference.

I have tried building packages on my Mac, but had issues with invisible files and Finder placing .DS_Store files even after running clean up commands. Aghh...

yea, lotsa extra stuff with Macs. I use Windows simply becuase i dont have a mac. Only a little laptop, and my iPhone.
Now if i could only get a download counter to work that doesnt require PHP/MySQL.

I was successful in making it work without MySQL, but its a pain You can use .htaccess to rewrite the downloads

I wish there was one I had to figure out everything myself. At the end, if it dows not use MySQL and does not work automatically, it is 100% not worth the effort.

    was afraid of that. Thanks.
might have to learn MySQL.....would be a lot easier to make changes too.
