Stolen Paid Packages

Is there any way to get piracy repos to take down my paid package they put up as free? They have over 400 downloads together last time I looked. thats like $400

You can request it be taken down but you honestly can't do anything from what I've seen. They are their to pirate that crap so they probably will think your request is just one in a sea of many.

You can ask the repo to remove it, but they put it back after 2 days I think.

There's nothing you can do. That's why those repos are there for. But there's no talk of this here. Sorry guys.

There is nothing you can do, Piracy is Piracy and not you, not the Goverment, not anyone, can stop it.
I've tried, many times. By words, and by force. It doesn't work, they just get right back up to where they left off....

So just deal with it man... life isn't about money, if you made the theme to get cash, then maybe you shouldn't be a themer? There are much more ways to make cash, and they make cash a lot faster then themers could ever hope to, its a hobby, not a job.

Dont fret to much about it. You really didnt lose $400 from it. Most of the peeps that grabbed it from there would not have bought it anyways. They will download dozens of themes, and use yours until the next one comes along (most have probably already switched anyways). They are pretty wishy washy about these things. Those that really like it, and will keep using it are likely to buy it. Besides, there is always the slight chance that someone that would NOT have purchased it actually grabbed it from one of those and decided to buy it. Its probably rare, but there are a few that honestly do the Try before you buy thing with those repos.

You can ask, but it likely wont matter. But if you ask, do it nicely. If you are "angry" about it, they will leave it up for sure.

JKMOD please edit your post (take the names that are posted off) your only linking ppl to there site, no need for that. In the other hand i agree with NictraSavios (i know its a hobby for me ) and take it as it comes dont be bummed about it....

Agreed, the ONLY thing that bothers me is some sites sell subscriptions for downloads... That's not right, but yea if it was all about money for me I wouldn't do it, how's it fun if ur trying to make a job out of it? All I know is I pay for every thing I'm not about stealing, especially from Cydia devs since most are normal people with jobs and not multi billion dollar corporations, they work hard to earn an honest living and we should pay the respect back in my opinion.
