Jailbroke my ip4 on jailbreakme.com .. I have been having problems with some things not working like themes and other apps on winterboard .. I am new to a lot of this , so try explaining things in layman terms kinda... Ever since I jailbroke it it will crash atleast twice a week , and I have a hard time turning my phone back on .. It will take at least a half hour to come back on by itself .. I am not sure if I should go back to iTunes and change it back and go to greenposion and jailbreak it ??? Also the OS 5 can I download that with it jailbroke ?? Please help

There were some issues with JailbreakMe, but should generally be stable. It could also be caused by tweaks conflicting with each other as well, depending on what you have installed.

My personal preference, and the best, most stable jailbreak is probably Redsn0w. Never have any issues with it. Have been using it everysince Quickpwn stopped working a few years ago.
Now iOS5 can be jailbroken, but it is whats called a tethered jailbreak right now, which i rarely recommend anyone doing, especially if they are new-ish. A tethered jailbreak means that anytime you cycle power - reboot, battery dies, install certain tweaks (basically anytime you see the apple) it will hang at that screen and you have to connect back to the computer and run the jailbreak to boot past it.

I would recommend either going Stock iOS5 and jailbreaking when the untethered jailbreak is released, or restoring back to 4.3.3. and usuing Redsn0w to jailbreak. (or can simply uninstall some tweaks and see if it comes out of it).

It should be pretty stable now. I do have to agree with adlyr, redsn0w is my favorite too at the moment (simply because it works on iOS 5, although tethered)...

Yep agree wt dat....im using redsnow to Jb semitetherd shud b ok.....read b4 install....only compatible wt IOS5..... n support them .in d sence purchased!
