No mask for the rest of the icons?? Oh no - yes, this is a must

The switch in the icon game has finally, after a year of me saying it, went the way of the custom icon design ... Each icon hand designed and built i love pushing themers to their real ability and seeing what their minds truly see.

But, if you choose to go the mask route, have to have a decent icon mask for all the icons - need an app store icon mask

I don't think hes using a mask of anykind. from what I see he is resizing the original Icon and putting on that wood block icon. Bottomline is that if you are looking to be a themer and put out products for free then hell do whatever you want. But if your looking to put out product for money espcilly the premium amount of $3.00 which by the way is the standard price of the higher quality themes out there. It took me 4 themes to finally feel comfortable putting out a 3 dollar theme.

Anyway there are certain standard thing you have to do for 1. anyone to buy your theme. 2. for anyone to take you serially and not think you just think this is some fast cash ATM machine because its not.

1. Release the theme when its complete not kinda or sort of complete. Why would I buy your 3.00 theme that's 20% complete when I can buy Elite Pro for 3.00 that's 100% compete and more add on then I can count.

2. Icon Masking - you need to have it auto icon mask at the very least. just doing the basic stuff isn't going to cut it.

I'm not trying to bring you down at all but I want to be honest with you so we can help you out like others have helped us.

I know about mask and shadow and auto designing. But it's fun doing the icons yourself!
I actually take my time doing the icons so the pirates should realise how much time I have taken!

It takes more time to do the icons manually. I meant pirates should realise this.

I suggest you just do auto icons. As there are tons of apps in the appstore. You can custom some that you like only

1. I know how the money part works pretty well.
2. It doesn't matter what YOU like when your trying to sell a product. Thats the part it seems like your not getting. If your looking to make an income from this then I and pretty much everyone else I know would suggest doing auto icons.
